Examination requirements

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)

The TOEFL is required for applicants who have less than 60 upper division credits from an English speaking college or university. The minimum acceptable score is 550 on the paper-based test or 213 on the computer-based test.

Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)

(Recommended)

Official reports of scores of the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) must be submitted by all accepted applicants, who have taken the MCAT, prior to enrollment. If an applicant has taken the test more than once, all results must be submitted.

Taking the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is recommended not required, but  specifically required from  students who meet either of the following two conditions:

1.   Students with outdated required science coursework (>10 years old)
2.   Students with "C" grades or lower in the required science courses
